Talking Banks & Trust on The Ad Show

July 1st, 2010

Earlier this week I made my first tv appearance (as a marketing commentator) on a local show called The Ad Show.

You can give it a watch over here on TVNZ on Demand.

(Apologies if international readers can’t watch it, if you can’t please let me know.)

Thanks to Top Shelf Productions and the team behind the show for inviting me along, it was an enjoyable experience!

Great topic, classic argument, be cool instead of trying to be cool.

It does what it says

November 8th, 2009

Funnily enough I’ve had this conversation a few times in the last few weeks – hey it does what it says.

(Most of this has been centred around the Flip Mino HD)

It really is a betrayal of consumer trust that ‘it does what it says’ becomes a point of difference. ย Everything should do what it says. ย Yet we find (especially with technology products) that actually doing that is out of our reach.

Just a reminder, keep your products simple, people do like to buy stuff that does what it says…
