{"id":1242,"date":"2009-03-08T21:09:09","date_gmt":"2009-03-09T01:09:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.local\/?p=1242"},"modified":"2009-03-08T21:09:09","modified_gmt":"2009-03-09T01:09:09","slug":"friends-in-common-app","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.local\/friends-in-common-app\/","title":{"rendered":"Friends in Common App"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>You know the 6 degrees of separation rule.<\/p>\n<p>It is even smaller online. \u00a0In New Zealand apparently it&#8217;s 2 degrees of separation to everyone. \u00a0If two people are on Twitter or LinkedIn I would guess most people would be 2 maybe 3 degrees of separation (especially for larger networks).<\/p>\n<p>I would like a quick app, I could load up my Twitter + LinkedIn (Facebook for others) and it analyses my networks and theirs (first level only). \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Then all i do is enter a name, it searches those, and lets me know who I know someone through.<\/p>\n<p>It would be fantastic! At a conference I could put someones name in see if I know someone they do, instant conversation starter. \u00a0Someone pitching to me, same deal.<\/p>\n<p>The world is all about relationships, someone please build this. \u00a0Give me this app now!<\/p>\n<p>It would make social interactions such a breeze.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You know the 6 degrees of separation rule.
