When I have a problem that I’m chewing on, I’ll go for a walk. \u00a0Typically by the end of a walk I’ve cracked the problem or figured out what the next step to getting to the solution is. \u00a0Its simple and it works. \u00a0Stanfords recent study mirrors this by \u00a0showing that\u00a0walking increases creativity<\/a>.<\/p>\n A person walking indoors \u2013 on a treadmill in a room facing a blank wall \u2013 or walking outdoors in the fresh air produced twice as many creative responses compared to a person sitting down, one of the experiments found.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Crazy – even walking indoors in a room with a blank wall, aka no external stimulus other than walking did it.<\/p>\n
