Shopping is not my favourite pastime.<\/p>\n
Especially with inept sales peoples.<\/p>\n
If they offend me I have a tendency to leave.<\/p>\n
I can \u00a0come back later or go elsewhere to shop.<\/p>\n
The typical conversation that you experience is:<\/p>\n
I wander into a Clothing Store and<\/p>\n
Some like it, many answer automatically. \u00a0Why’s that? Because as soon as they ask, your barriers go up, hang on they’re trying to sell to me, no thanks. \u00a0Even if you want help your more likely to say no than yes. \u00a0I know what you’re thinkign you have done xactly that huh?<\/p>\n
There is a simple fix.<\/p>\n
Change your language! Be interested in me <\/strong>and what I want<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Some different approaches:<\/p>\n Acknowledging the customer is a person:<\/p>\n Light Hearted:<\/p>\n Help the customer:<\/p>\n Ther are many ways, remember to acknowledge the person, try and build a repoir and then help them. \u00a0Like the doctor if your good I’ll be back. \u00a0<\/p>\n If you work in a clothing store (or any other consumer goods store) do not use the typical sales pitch, they are average and will lead to average results.<\/p>\n Be different remind yourself its all about the customer. \u00a0You will also learn more about your customers and will need a different approach for each and everyone of them. \u00a0If you can do this you will easily excel \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Shopping is not my favourite pastime.
