{"id":1770,"date":"2009-05-21T19:08:44","date_gmt":"2009-05-21T23:08:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.local\/?p=1770"},"modified":"2009-05-21T19:08:44","modified_gmt":"2009-05-21T23:08:44","slug":"the-subtle-art-of-persuasion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.local\/the-subtle-art-of-persuasion\/","title":{"rendered":"The (subtle) Art of Persuasion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I was at a launch party last night &#8211; now they had some cards at the bar with some neat stories. \u00a0Whilst I waited for my drink I purposely flicked through them, grabbed three out and showed them to my friend.<\/p>\n<p>There was a guy in front of me waiting, he watched this, I chit chatted back and forth, then flicked back through the cards checking to see if I had them all. \u00a0<em>\u00a0<\/em>I then pulled a couple out and left them on the bar for others to read.<\/p>\n<p>Now I have to admit &#8211; I did this purposely to draw attention to the cards to the person in front of me. \u00a0Sure enough within 30 seconds he reached over, grabbed one, then flicked through to grab all the different colours.<\/p>\n<p>Not only had I planted the seed that they were worth looking at &#8211; for whatever reason you need to get all three colours. \u00a0A bit cheeky but fun.<\/p>\n<p>The subtle art of persuasion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was at a launch party last night &#8211; now they had some cards at the bar with some neat stories. \u00a0Whilst I waited for my drink I purposely flicked through them, grabbed three out and showed them to my friend.
