{"id":2618,"date":"2009-10-26T22:09:04","date_gmt":"2009-10-27T02:09:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.local\/?p=2618"},"modified":"2009-10-26T22:09:04","modified_gmt":"2009-10-27T02:09:04","slug":"the-reality-gap-between-an-idea-and-implementation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.local\/the-reality-gap-between-an-idea-and-implementation\/","title":{"rendered":"The reality gap between an idea and implementation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The reality gap is huge.<\/p>\n<p>In writing my previous post, <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.local\/from-living-a-nightmare-to-living-the-dream\/\">From living a nightmare to living the dream<\/a>, when you look at the steps. \u00a0They read quite easily, simple basic steps to implement. \u00a0And they are.<\/p>\n<p>Often [with an idea] you find the problems and solutions to overcome the barriers to implementation &#8211; however the timing between each step can be vast.<\/p>\n<p>They all involve steps from A to B. \u00a0The problem can be the this huge gap &#8211; the void in between these steps.<\/p>\n<p>What you have to realise is that whilst it has taken someone else 3 months to conquer it, it may take you much longer, or even shorter.<\/p>\n<p>In reviewing often I find I struggle majorly with a few crucial steps, then blitz through others. \u00a0Talking to others you find that they struggle with different steps.<\/p>\n<p>This isn&#8217;t really groundbreaking but is more a tap on the shoulder to say, hey, don&#8217;t stress, these things take time&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The reality gap is huge.
